Who's "you guys"?
I still think Saitama himself should be banned until he's shown to be injured in some way.
Until then it's a complete waste of time to match him up with anybody.
To be fair, Remnant has almost nothing in common with this game outside of being a third person shooter.
Yeah you're pretty spot-on, I've always said the things CT drivers are the absolute worst at is merging.
They absolutely hate moving over, and they hate it when people are in front of them. They suck at both letting other people merge and merging themselves.
Allow me to do my best to articulate my excitement for this release.
As someone who drives between CT, NY, MA, and RI regularly (read several times a week) my experience has been that drivers from each state are all bad in their own special way.
No not really, I mean I'm not saying it's not dumb, but it doesn't actually affect the story in any way.
Roland's (Elba's character) race actually affects his relationship to other characters in the story.
Whenever someone points out the fact that the climate is always changing, they also neglect to say that many of the previous major climate changes were accompanied by mass extinction.
Honestly he's the only character here that was really stupid to recast.
TV show amber sucked, but not because they made her black.
The History of the World Podcast
I have no idea how a vegan/raw food diet would affect things nowadays.
The evolution I mentioned happened somewhat before actual modern humans (homo sapiens). I forget which species specifically they think it happened during.
I don't mind some setup, but with the exception of his one, all three other abilities he has have some sort of prerequisite before they are useful.
Really I'd be fine with just his three and four being tweaked. His two isn't that bad, because you want to hit his one regularly anyways.
I love Harrow. I don't think he needs a full rework, but he needs some tweaking with how his abilities work.
There's just so much set up and time spent casting.
Personally I always wanted more Dick and Harley.
Yeah I just listened to a podcast about this, there's a specific term for it.
Basically as we were able to cook food out body was able to dedicate more energy to the brain as our diet became more nutritionally efficient.
I didn't make any claim about quality.
I don't think it's a matter of quality, but if I had to be honest I'd say I think maybe anime has gotten more tropey over the years.
I don't have any problem with tropes in an if them selves, but they seems particularly ubiquitous in the modern anime industry.
And on a personal note I definitely miss some of the older art styles. I think they've aged really well. I wish they'd make a come back.
I'll say I do think we've lost something along the way when it comes to anime.
Although just to be clear I'm not the guy that's going to say all modern anime is garbage or anything (or that we didn't have a fair share of garbage back then), but I feel like there's a certain style or genre that seems to have been lost.
I guess that's not specific to anime, but being a boomer weeb it's what I've noticed the most
Yes, this but unironically.
Impossible, the Chinese people who created and financed the movie simply have internalized racism and can't help but have a white actor star in their movie.
Every time some idiot brings up that movie an example of white washing or the "white savior" trope I want to punch something.
I'd agree with this. Sometimes I think people are a little harsh on Deku, but I think the description of him is accurate.
He definitely fits the traditional "battle shonen protagonist" role very well. Though I think he's one of the best iterations of it. I think the thing that makes that roll tiresome is that the MC is almost inevitably perfect. Not in the Mary Sue sort of way, but they seem to have no character flaws really.
Always perfectly good in every way.
Where as those like Bakugo and Todoroki are still at their core good people, but like most people they aren't always perfectly kind to everyone.
I'll admit I fell for it at first too.
I really thought they were going to pull a Sasuke on us.
I unironically love Bakugo.
He's one of few "constantly screaming" characters in anime that I actually enjoy.
The heel-turn bait they did with him a few seasons back was awesome.
It's essentially a extremely early draft of the way of kings.
The wildly different story, it's not canon to the cosmere at all.
I think it was a Kickstarter reward or something.
